| NUMBERS GAME Definition: (disapproving) If you say that somebody is playing the numbers game, you think that they are concentrating on the aspects of something which can be expressed in statistics, usually in order to mislead people. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for who attempts to mislead some others. 2. 'Player' has the ability and capability to change area of emphasis. 3. Opponent(s) will not be versed in the knowledge of statistics, etc. 4. Efforts will not include deliberate errors, miscalculations, etc. 5. Questions asked or clarifications sought will not go 'unanswered'. 6.
