| PROGRESSIVE (1) Definition: A person who is in favour of new ideas, modern methods and change. ______________________________________________________________________ P - purposeful, positively-minded and able to recognize good new thoughts, current ways and means and differences; questioning. R - ready and willing at all times to respond correctly to newness, modernism and reforms. And has a sense of direction; dependable. O - organized and orderly; won't ordinarily be distracted, disorientated, destabilized by, or dismissive of, a hint or suggestion, etc.; responsive. G - good-natured; will not be involved in a spin. That is, will have an inclination to listen to and consider what others say; confident. R - resolute and resilient in the defence of fresh ideas, sustaining current methodologies and variances; disciplined. E - encourages and enjoys debate and things of an intellectual nature, glad to argue to try to convince another person; cooperative. S - supports every other like-minded person, especially when reactionaries, the wicked or devilish, and those who support provincialism have to be frontally confronted; serious. S - sociable and open-minded, with a great deal of self-belief. That is, will quickly share thoughts, discoveries, etc. with others who are willing to listen and learn; genuine. I - intelligent and persistent - won't cause a needless delay, some disturbance or do the illegal in pursuit of goal(s); reasonable and sensible. V - vigilant and focused, with an ability to face the consequences of acts, actions or inaction, whatever these might be; thorough, painstaking.
