| PROHIBITION (2) Definition: [ ~ (against/on something) ] A law or rule that stops something being done or used. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful to enact law (to emphasize). 2. Necessary to stop thing being done or used. 3. Law or rule is enforceable and/or is enforced. 4. Law is not being challenged and rule is not being contested. That is, law or rule is not undergoing a review or reform. 5. The majority of the citizens of country, region, etc. or members of an organization, etc. will not suffer as a direct result of law. 6. Serves purpose(s), hopefully.
