| PUGNACITY Definitions: i. The quality of being pugnacious (= always ready to quarrel or start a fight). ii. (formal) Having a strong desire to argue or fight with other people. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Person can never have a justification as there will be no pending or outstanding issue in dispute or to cause a confrontation - thought or claimed everything had been laid to rest! 2. Whoever or whichever group is taken on, by cantankerous person, is never prepared or expecting 'rough and tumble' - peaceful party is no more on guard or a lookout for trouble. 3. Pugnacious individual can never be placated or appeased. There will, therefore, be no willingness or cooperation with intercessors, peacemakers, mediators, arbitrators, etc., if any - will insist that matter causing disaffection is no one's business. 4. Never surrenders midway, even if losing a 'battle'. That is, bad or quarrelsome nature will be carried to the end of event or activity in which 'madness' will be displayed - a real pain in the arse. 5. Person with habits never apologises; never learns a lesson; never sorry; never considers anything as a loss in situation - no matter the personal deprivations, disgrace, embarrassments, etc. that he or she may suffer from pugnacious quality - utterly shameless. 6. Desire lasts for a period of time considered as tolerable, until the person who is quarrelsome, annoying, etc. gets some weird satisfaction from the bad, negative quality - boo! _____________________________ See perfect TEMPER (2).
