| TOUGH COOKIE Definition: A person who is unemotional and not easily hurt by what people say or do. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Will have nothing negative simmering underneath cool exterior. 2. Has a capacity or an ability to feel pain and to express feelings. 3. Won't report or mention what is unpalatable to a third party. And not a litigious party. 4. A response or reaction, if any, if not 'opposite', will not be in equal measure to what was had or heard. That is, bravery or a measure of self-respect, self-restraint, self-discipline, etc. will be shown. And person will not be childish, intractable, jealous or envious, etc. 5. Never forgets what is heard or experienced, whether hurt occurs once or no matter how many times utterance or action is repeated. 6. Never seriously affected by situation. That is, able to effectively carry on with normal routine (to emphasize). 7. Dispassionate behaviour or nonchalant attitude to source of attempted hurt will be consistent, privately and publicly. 8. Never plans some vengeance or a revenge. And won't refer to matter in the future, either in passing or as an aside. 9.
